Barnabas

Barnabas is a class for couples seeking to encourage others and be encouraged to be great parents and spouses.

BYKOTA

This class of adults, aged 60-plus, takes a serious look at a broad range of scriptures using exegetical teaching and active participation. This class is discussing issues facing older adults in the new millennium and searching for biblical solutions and applications.

Embers

All ages are invited to a community of prayer, fellowship, and study. This summer they will finish up their study based on Francis Chan’s book and interactive video, “Forgotten God: Reversing our tragic Neglect of the Holy Spirit.” Later in the summer, they will do a study of dreams and dreamers in the Bible lead by Glen Cox.

Freedom Together

Freedom Together is a fellowship of married and single Christians of all ages. The focus of the class is on Bible study, engaging the scriptural texts in their historical contexts, and applying them to twenty-first century lives. During June, July, and August this class will be discussing two thought-provoking video series. The will start with Philip Yancy’s “Prayer: Does It Make Any Difference?” followed by Ray Vander Laan’s “Faith Lessons on the Death and Resurrection of the Messiah.”

Growing in Grace    
Parlor
This class is a unique blend of singles and couples, who challenge one another to grow spiritually as they share matters from their hearts. This class will spend four weeks studying Psalm 1, 8, 19, and 27 followed by a study of Galatians by Tim Keller.

Jump Start Cafe will meet during the school year.

New Horizons

This class ranges in ages from 40’s to 60’s, singles as well as married couples. They welcome anyone that desires an in-depth Bible Study. They will be studying Philippians this summer.

Real Encounters

This class of 20, 30, and 40-somethings are committed to being real with God and each other through celebrating God’s Word in a comfortable and safe place. This summer this class will spend time studying an overview of each book of the Bible.

Seekers

The Seekers class is a group of adults in their 40’s and 50’s (mostly), who greatly desire to seek God and His righteousness, to grow in Christ-likeness, and support each other in their spiritual maturity. They enjoy time of fellowship with food and rich study. This summer they are studying the character and purpose of God, a review of God’s character as revealed in the Old Testament.

This class of young adults is focused on discovering and experiencing God's love for the true heart of His people. This involves the study of God’s word, discussion, relationship building, and life-sharing. They are continuing an in-depth study of the book of Luke to see how Jesus loves, encourages, and challenges those who follow Him.

Charisalis

Charisalis means “A safe place to grow in grace.” This class is a family-oriented group of adults in their 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s. Light hearted interaction, thoughtful study, sensitive sharing, and prayerful caring characterize times spent together Sunday mornings as well as regularly scheduled activities outside of Sunday mornings. They are working their way through the book “You Were Born for This: Seven Keys to a Life of Predictable Miracles,” by Bruce Wilkinson and David Kopp.

Lamplighters        
C110 / 10:30-11:30
This wonderful group of senior adults enjoys being together in and outside of the class. They use “Bridges” (Church of God curriculum) for their study.
